Bucking the odds and the experts’ predictions, the sixth-seeded Lyncs unleashed a torrent of 3-pointers to shock the Lightning in Friday’s Class 1A semifinal and advance to the state championship game for the second time in three years.
Junior guard Jaden DeBoer led the way with 28 points, including four of LC’s 11 3-pointers, and senior guard Andrew DeVries added six more 3-pointers.
