Whatcom Hoops Girls Top 30: #17 Jillea Fox

In an incredible season filled with outstanding players, Whatcom Hoops is ranking the top 30 girls. Each day we’ll feature an amazing player in our county and count down until we get to #1. So join us daily as we honor the best of the best.

#17

Jillea Fox, sophomore, Ferndale

WHY SHE’S #17: The Golden Eagles’ main inside presence on both offense and defense, Fox’s determination made her a double-double machine. The 5-foot-10 forward averaged nearly 12 points and was second in the Northwest Conference in rebounding with nearly 9 boards a game. In addition, she was an outstanding passer for a post, averaging almost 2 assists a game.

COACH TERRI YOST: “Jillea is a solid player. She had multiple double-double games this season. Her knowledge of the game makes her an offensive threat anywhere on the floor.”
